Train your swing

Krazy Weights are a compact and adjustable training weight system that attaches to the knob of a bat, the grip of a club, or the butt of a stick. Building real swing speed, power, and control using the gear the athlete already owns.

Why Krazy Weights?

A different approach to swing training.

Krazy Weights put adjustable training weight at the knob of your bat or the grip of your club. It's a simple way to add weight to the equipment you already use.

Traditional bat weights

Weight at the barrel

Donuts and sleeves add weight around the barrel of the bat, away from the athlete's hands.

Krazy Weights

Weight at the handle

Krazy Weights attach at the knob of your bat or the grip of your club, keeping the added weight close to your hands. Adjust the weight and train with the equipment you already own.

The Evidence

A heavier warm-up isn't always a better warm-up.

Studies of weighted-bat warm-ups raise three questions about a familiar baseball routine.

Feeling faster doesn't mean swinging faster

In one small study, players felt faster after removing a weighted ring, even though their first swing measured slower.1

Swing patterns can change

One study found that a donut warm-up altered the swing pattern when players returned to a normal bat.2

More weight doesn't guarantee more speed

Another study found faster subsequent swings after light- or normal-bat warm-ups than after a heavy-bat warm-up.3

How It Works

Your equipment. Adjustable weight.

  1. Attach. Attach Krazy Weights to the knob of your bat or the grip of your club.
  2. Adjust. Add or remove weight discs to change the amount of added weight.
  3. Train. Use your own equipment for swing training in baseball, softball, or golf.

About

Based in New Hampshire.

Krazy Weights started with a simple idea: put the training weight at the handle instead of the barrel, so an athlete can build swing speed with the bat or club already in their hands.

We're a small, independent company, and the design and prototyping work happens here. Right now we're in field testing: getting prototypes in front of players and coaches, and refining the design around what comes back.

How You Can Help

What we're looking for.

If you know the right person, these are the introductions that move this forward fastest.

Coaches & training facilities

Hitting academies, instructors, and travel programs willing to put prototypes in athletes' hands and tell us honestly what works and what doesn't.

Retail & distribution

Buyers, pro shops, and reps who know where a product like this belongs on a shelf, and what it takes to earn that spot.

Investors

Early-stage backers who understand physical product and want to be involved before tooling is complete and the first production run ships.
